Doors Open London - Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18
The Village doors are open and the admission is free for Doors Open London.  

Grand Tactical 1812 Event
Fanshawe 1812:  The Invasion of Upper Canada - Friday, September 30th to Sunday, October 2
The Invasion of Upper Canada recreates McArthur’s raid of October – November 1814 through Napoleonic style battle demonstrations situated on the lakes, forests and meadows of Fanshawe Conservation Area in London, Ontario.  The historic Village of Fanshawe comes alive with merchants, entertainment, displays and performers all steps away from the military encampments and battlefields.

Experience the life and battles of a soldier in 1812 at this premier provincial event.

Saturday

  • 10:00 a.m. - Artillery and Boat Battle
  • 11:15 a.m. - Morning Beach Battle
  • 3:00 p.m. - Afternoon Battle

Sunday

  • 11:15 a.m. - Morning Beach Battle
  • 2:30 p.m. - Afternoon Battle

Fall on the Farm - Saturday, October 8, Sunday, October 9, and Monday, October 10

Watch as farm families prepare for the coming winter with the clearing of the gardens, ploughing of the farm fields, textiles arts and wood stove cooking. Reserve your Thanksgiving Dinner at the Pioneer Village Café.

Preview: Friday, 14 October Shows: Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16 Friday, October 21 – Sunday, October 23 Thursday, October 27 - Saturday, October 29.

The Cultured Criminal: A Play by Robyn Israel

How did a dashing British aristocrat get charged with the murder of a young Englishman in Oxford County, Ontario? Join us as we revisit the 1890 Birchall-Benwell Affair, one of the most sensational murder cases in Canadian history. From a gruesome discovery in the Blenheim Swamp to the trial in Woodstock’s Old Town Hall, this year’s Haunted Hayrides promises a thrilling ride!

Performances at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 on Thursday and Sunday nights and 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00 on Friday and Saturday nights.

Tickets are $10.00 each for the preview on Friday, October 14 and $11.00 each for the remainder of the shows.

Not recommended for youth under age 10.

A Haunting We Will Go! - Saturday, October 29

Celebrate a historic Halloween! Trick or treat in the Village, bob for apples, hear a ghost story and participate in many other ghoulish activities. Costumes are encouraged. Fanshawe Pioneer Village will be open from 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Special Admission rate
