Victorian Dance Weekend

On Saturday, July 30th The CITIZENS of LONDON and the INHABITANTS of the County have resolved to host a Ball and Tea Dance to be held at Fanshawe Pioneer Village.

Fanshawe Frolic –On Saturday, July 30th learn the social dances of 120 years ago with Itinerant Dance Mistress, Mme. Stephens at two workshops held on Saturday morning and afternoon. Enjoy a country supper on Saturday evening, followed by a 19th century period Ball. All dances will be easy to learn and to do. Period costumes are encouraged but not required. Family Frolic – Bring your family to Fanshawe Pioneer Village on Sunday, July 31st to learn easy set and couple dances of the 19th century, called by Itinerant Dance Mistress, Mme. Stephens, followed by Victorian tea. The Family Dance will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the Purple Hill Orange Lodge and Afternoon Tea will take place in the Corbett Tavern at 3:00 p.m. this event is free with regular admission.
