What to See & Do
Looking for things to See & Do at the Village?
Spend a day in the 19th century at Fanshawe Pioneer Village. The past comes alive through daily demonstrations of 19th century trades and farming practices, domestic chores and social pastimes by costumed interpreters. Each visit promises something new to explore and discover.
Visitors will experience the life of farming communities around London throughout the 19th century. Original houses, churches, a woodworking shop, a school and even an Orange Hall complete the rural landscape. Other original structures include the Denfield General Store and Post Office, Harmer Sawmill and Trinity Anglican Church to present an urban community at the turn of the 20th century.
Every season brings a calendar filled with a wide variety of Special Events (link to our event calendar) for all the family to enjoy. On special event days, catch a ride around the Village on a wagon pulled by horses or a vintage tractor.
Education Programs & Group Tours are available from May to December.
