From holiday parties to, weddings and receptions, sales meetings to company picnics, whatever event you’re planning, you’ll find an unforgettable setting at Fanshawe Park Village, right in your own backyard!
In addition to all of the amenities you need to make your event a success, you’ll appreciate a peaceful and beautiful country setting and access to the historic village’s structures for your guests.; We can help you organize a modern wedding ceremony in a tented palace or a Vintage Baseball Game and BBQ for the Company Picnic.

With the help of our experienced Rental Coordinator, your next gathering, whether it’s a casual staff retreat or full-scale conference will be one for the history books.

You may combine any of our activities to make your next event truly memorable.
For example, organize a Fund Raising Dinner with a Historical Theme and our Interpreters will re-enact a fascinating moment in History. Serve your guest a 100 mile dinner in a Pioneer Barn with authentic trestle tables.
Plan a special birthday dinner at the Cafe followed by a guided horse-drawn carriage ride through the historic village. The possibilities are virtually limitless.
Plan a family orientated Company picnic with a true Vintage Baseball Game organized by our amazing team of Interpreters then adjourn to a bountiful BBQ picnic in Tecumseh Field. Vintage Base Ball is base ball (yes, it was spelled two words prior to the 1880s) played by the rules and customs of the 19th Century. Our players (sometimes called ballists) wear period reproduction uniforms, either with long trouser and shield shirt, or a later style lace shirt and knickers. They recreate the game based on rules and research of the various decades of the mid-to-late nineteenth century.

We will work by your side through the planning phases to ensure that your event is well organized and memorable. At every step we will stay squarely focused on your needs and your budget requirements. Some of our event planning services include: site selection and set-up planning, sourcing and securing third-party suppliers, menu/catering planning, leisure-time/special activity planning and entertainment production.
It's a comfort to know that during your event, our event staff will be there with you to ensure that your function runs smoothly. We'll be there to help you address any unforeseen situations, make last-minute adjustments...whatever we can do to make sure your event is a success.
