Help Keep History Alive!
Our programs and daily activities connect our communities with local history by inspiring, sharing, and preserving our past through uniquely interactive experiences, but we cannot do it without you!
Your gift to Fanshawe Pioneer Village will help us replace our hands-on games so kids can play, allow us to re-shingle a roof, or add a ramp to a building. It is a big job, caring for 33 heritage buildings and 40,000 artifacts— but with those responsibilities comes the fun of sharing local history lessons and inspiring our community to connect with the past!
Friendship Quilt Fundraiser
The tradition of autograph quilts, also known as signature or friendship quilts, date back to the 1840's, bringing communities together one stitch at a time. The Village last completed a Friendship Quilt project in 1992 to raise funds. That quilt is now part of our permanent collection.
For a $150 donation, your name (or a loved one’s) will be embroidered onto a quilt block. The finished quilt will become part of the Museum’s collection and be on public display in the Visitor Entrance Tollgate building for at least five years.

Annual Giving
Consider Making a Gift to support Fanshawe Pioneer Village!
Each year Fanshawe Pioneer Village hosts an Annual Giving Campaign to support our operating needs, with a $10,000 goal. With the support of donors like you, we can reach our target!
Perhaps you are having trouble finding a gift for that person on your list who has everything? Consider making a donation in the name of that special someone. All gifts directly support our programming, our collections, and your Village.
Donations can be made online through our website, in-person, by cheque or credit card. (Tax receipts are issued for gifts of $25 or more.)
