Event Description:
What is it?
This isn’t a haunted house…it’s a haunted Village! Guest follow a frightful walking route through the Village and experience 5 buildings transformed into scenes straight from their darkest nightmares!
Age Guidelines:
This is a 14+ event and is NOT an event for children. There are scenes of violence, gore and graphic content. This is a frightening haunted house experience.
Youth under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.

DAYLIGHT Return to the Abandoned Village
Experience Return to the Abandoned Village in the daylight, with no scare performers and no strobe lights. Please note, this is NOT a family event, and still a 14+ experience - as all gory decorations, horror and graphic imagery are still present.
Only offered at 4pm and 5pm on Sunday October 19 & Sunday October 26

Ticket entry times for DAYLIGHT Return to the Abandoned Village are between 4:00-4:30pm and 5:00-5:30pm. After 7:00pm the Return to the Abandoned Village is back to the darkness, haunts and horrors!
Walk-Up Information
For each day of the Return to the Abandoned Village event, we will indicate if there are walk-up tickets available for that specific evening at 4:00pm.
Walk-up tickets are not guaranteed for every night, advance purchase is strongly recommended as many nights sell out.
Walk-up tickets cannot be purchased until the designated walk-up time. Do not arrive before the available time slot.
For walk-up tickets, exact cash, as well as debit/credit will be available.
Please let the registration person know you are looking to purchase walk-up tickets, and they will direct you to the box office location.

Your ticket will have an arrival time (ex. 8:00), please arrive at Fanshawe Pioneer Village at this time. When you arrive, you will be put in a queue based on your ticketed time to enter the Abandoned Village. Arriving a little before your ticketed time is good too!
Entry into the Village can be expected within 30 minutes of your ticketed time. (Ex. 8:00 Arrival, could mean entry into the event at 8:20).
Late arrivals (later than 30 minutes after your scheduled ticket time), may not be guaranteed entry. -
The Return to the Abandoned Village is presented in partnership with ByronScaryHouse, so you know it will be terrifying! This is not a family friendly event.
Wagon rides are no longer part of our Halloween events.

Entry to the event is staggered to allow for a scarier experience and to help keep the event flowing in the Village.
Large groups will be asked to split into smaller units of around 4 people, as they travel through the Village and enter the haunt buildings. This spacing allows for truly terrifying experience.When purchasing tickets, the maximum number of tickets per order is 10. Buyers must complete payment for their initial reservation (up to 10 tickets) before they can purchase additional tickets.

The Abandoned Village is a 14+ event, allowing for true terrors! This is a very frightening haunted house experience, with graphic images and horror. Youth under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
This is NOT an event for children.

You are welcome to wear your own costume as long as it does not impair your vision, and you can safely walk in it. (Remember you are moving through dimly lit spaces with uneven ground.)
Please keep all costume weapons and props at home. -
There are no refunds of purchased tickets. There is no ticket transfer availability.
Event will proceed rain, shine, or moonlight. No rain-checks will be provided. -
Fanshawe Pioneer Village is located inside the Fanshawe Conservation Area. There is no public transportation to this location, it is not on a City bus route.
There is free parking onsite.
Driving directions:
Enter Fanshawe Conservation Area at 1424 Clarke Road, London, Ontario. (Intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Clarke Road).
At the traffic light take the road marked “Upper Thames River Conservation - No Exit”.
Once inside the Conservation Area follow the directional signage to reach Fanshawe Pioneer Village.
Please notify us in advance if you are bringing a large group on a bus.
If you need accessible parking and have a permit, please let the parking attendant know, and they will direct you to the accessible parking area.

This event will have gory and graphic scenes, tight spaces, flashing lights, and loud sounds.
It is an outdoor event that takes place on gravel and uneven pathways, forested areas, and grass as you travel around the Heritage Village at night, and standing in queues.
The length of the walk (once inside) is approximately 1/2 km.
Come dressed for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
