In La Salette, a hungry fox keeps raiding the henhouse; in Fingal Neil McAlpine saves his neighbours from famine; and in Ireland, Mary makes a life-and-death journey to escape starvation. As the cost of living rises beyond the breaking point, these are the stories the fabled Lawyer of La Salette tells in an attempt to wake the conscience of an avaricious CEO.
