World War One Education Day

This unique full-day, multi-school event provides students a chance to explore World War One through a series of interactive learning stations. Through active participation students will make a personal connection with the “Great War” and leave with an understanding of how it affected the lives of people overseas and at home.
Full Day Event- $16.00 per student
Program Schedule: 9:45 am Arrival & 1:30 pm Departure
Includes a series of stations delivered by History Matters Association over the course of the day.
There is a short lunch in the middle of the day. Please ensure students bring a lunch with them. There is NOT a place to purchase food onsite. Lunch will be outdoors.
This event happens rain or shine and includes outdoor portions. Student must dress for the weather and wear appropriate foot wear, as they will be moving around.
Sensory warning: this event includes loud noise and sound effects related to war.
Pre-registration is required. Limited Spaces available.
Chaperones and Teachers are free. This is a multi-school event and teachers are responsible for their own students during the day.
